WANT TO SEE THIS FILM?

Those brilliant unsung heros and creative people who make our favourite films worth watching, the make up artists, scene painters, camera assistants, special effects programmers and people in the 100s of other jobs that make up the film industry are having to give up working in film - victims of those who think downloading films "doesn't hurt anyone". Sorry to point that out!
Whatsmore, film companies large and small are going out of business because people think it's "allright" to download films for free. Again, sorry to point that out too!
That's why there's not so many good films being made anymore. And it's a real irony, because it's people who like to watch films who are causing all this trouble! They just don't know any better.

If a film's worth seeing, then it's worth paying for. It's obvious really!
Don't download it. BUY IT!

Please copy this message and email it to any of your friends who still thinks it's allright to download films for free. Quickly. Before they ruin it all for the rest of us!

VAMPIRE CIRCUS

Vampire Circus

TERRY BROOKES
reviewed this film and gave it:

Vampire Circus is one of Hammer's best and most original vampire films, not to mention also delightfully erotic.
As always, Hammer managed to create a whole lot of period atmosphere and chilling moments. But in addition (and where some other Hammer films are badly let down) Vampire Circus is well-acted and surprisingly sensual.

The basic story goes that a Nineteenth Century European village is cut off from the outside world, quarantined by the plague, when a strange and mysterious traveling circus named the 'Circus of Nights' arrives in town. The circus folks are a colorful lot and all have bizarre supernatural powers and can transform into wild animals. Amongst them is a strongman played by a pre-Darth Vader David Prowse, a creepy clown and a sexy vampire girl played by Lalla Ward (Romana in Dr Who).
Pretty soon all the town's children are disappearing one by one, and the townsfolk want to know why!

A complex horror film with blood, nudity, Dave Prowse, shape shifting acrobats, lusty village girls, a plague, a weird hall of mirrors and lots and lots of atmosphere. Classic Hammer!

ROY WOOD
reviewed this film and gave it:

Vampire Circus is a 1972 British horror film directed by Robert Young for Hammer Film Productions. It stars Adrienne Corri, Thorley Walters and Anthony Higgins (billed as Anthony Corlan).
The story concerns a travelling carnival whose vampiric artistes prey on the children of a 19th-century Austrian village. It was filmed at Pinewood Studios.
